Our Commitment To Your Safety
Our practice has always met and continues to meet and surpass all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Centers for Disease Control) standards to ensure total patient safety. We take every precaution to eliminate patient risk. Because of our meticulous handling of disease control and sterilization, it is safe to come to our office. We still hold in place our normal requirements of rescheduling your appointment if you have any symptoms of illness and we will screen all patients prior to treatment for underlying medical issues.
Here are some of the measures we are taking for your safety:
Fogging with electrolyzed water has been proven to be more effective and safer than bleach and peroxide products in broad spectrum room disinfection. It has been safely used in the food, hotel, and airline industries, as well as in hospital settings for years. It will now likely be commonplace in the dental setting. We have also taken robust air filtration measures, including adding high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters.
Patient Screening and Arrival
Before your appointment, we will call you to confirm that you are not displaying symptoms of COVID-19. Upon arrival, please call the office from your car and we will review our Covid 19 screenings and invite you to come into the office. We ask that only one other person or caregiver join you in the office. Upon entering the office you will be greeted with hand sanitizer, a fresh face mask if needed, and we will take your temperature.
In the treatment room, you will be asked to rinse with hydrogen peroxide, which is shown to be a very effective and safe oral antiseptic.
